Three prizes for best poster and soundbyte sponsored by CASE/NYSTAR
Prizes will be awarded to a student or postdoc in each of the two posters sessions for the most effective poster and in the soundbyte session for the most effective soundbyte. The criteria defining “most effective” poster/soundbyte are (1) quality of ideas presented and (2) how well the ideas are conveyed both visually and verbally. For the poster sessions, the verbal conveyance is the presentation of the poster. For the soundbyte, the visual conveyance is the slides. The prize consists of a certificate and a cash award. Only students and post-docs are eligible.
Winners of Poster and Soundbyte Prizes:
Poster Session I Henry Fu (Brown University)
Poster Session II
Volker Schaller (Technische Universität München)
