I-CAMP 2011 Summer School will be held in Montevideo (Uruguay) and Buenos Aires, Corrientes and Iguazu Falls (Argentina)

Montevideo

The first week (May 28 - June 3) of the summer school in Montevideo will be held at the School of Engineering of the University of the Republic (auditorium address: Julio Herrera y Reissig 565,
Montevideo). The University of the Republic is one of the premium public universities in Uruguay. The University of the Republic in Uruguay is also the largest public university in the country if calculated according to the number of students.

Buenos Aires

The next two weeks (June 3 - June 17) of the summer school will be held in Buenos Aires, Corrientes and Iguazu Falls. The school will be held at the School of Exact and Natural Sciences, University of Buenos Aires. The lectures will be given at the main lecture room (Aula Magna) of the Pabellón de Industrias, and at the main lecture room (Aula Magna) of the Pabellón 1. These pavilions are located in Ciudad Universitaria, Buenos Aires.

Local Transportation in Buenos Aires

The University Campus (Ciudad Universitaria) is served by the bus lines 28, 33, 37, 42, 45, 107, 160. Some buses end their route before reaching the University campus. Only those with a special sign “Ciudad Universitaria” behind the windshield serve the School site. You should step down from the bus at the first stop inside campus. All bus routes end at their third stop inside campus. The bus fare (1.25 arg. pesos) must be paid aboard, using coin-operated ticket machines. The driver will not provide change/coins, so you must have your own to pay.

University Dorms (ALBERGUE UNIVERSITARIO)
The Albergue is located inside the University Campus. These dorms are modest but decent rooms for 2 people, each one with a private bathroom. There is a common room, with TV, refrigerator, and microwave oven.
The price per person per day is 35 arg. pesos. To make a reservation in the dorms, please send a message to gortiz@exa.unne.edu.ar with your full name, dates of arrival and departure (to/from Corrientes) and your document/passport number.

Transportation from the University Campus

To go from the University campus to Corrientes downtown, take bus number 105 to SW, it is a 20-25 min ride (it can reach to 40-45 min in the rush hour). In remise (cab) the trip costs about 30 arg. pesos
To go from the University campus to Terminal de Ominibus Corrientes, take bus number 11 to SW, it is a 40 min. ride. In remise (cab) the trip costs about 40 arg. pesos
