The ICAM annual conference will cover the science of emergence in quantum matter, biological matter, and soft matter, with frontier talks in each area from leaders in the field, talks by local UC Davis scientists, and presentations by our junior and senior fellows and exchange awardees. We will also feature special sessions on energy and on diplomacy and international outreach in science.

Note that prior to the meeting the first international workshop on the fundamental science behind memristors, a workshop sponsored by ICAM, will be held in Davis.
